Meetings |
The Potomac River Smallmouth Club holds
membership meetings open to the public every month
except December at the
Vienna Fire Station. Meetings take place on the last Wednesday
of the month beginning at 7:30 p.m., and feature presentations
by noted anglers, guides, conservations, and members on
a broad range of topics related to the Club's purpose. |

Effective Nov. 1, 2007 PRSC membership Dues
are $35 per year and are used to offset such
expenses as the monthly newsletter, this website,
Club events, charitable contributions, and awards. To
join, fill out the membership
form and mail it with dues to the address below
or join at one of the monthly meetings.

The PRSC |
The Potomac River Smallmouth Club (PRSC)
is the Washington D.C. Capital Area's leading river fishing and conservation organization.
The group promotes CATCH AND RELEASE angling for smallmouth bass,
publishes
a monthly newsletter, presents monthly programs with guest speakers, and organizes
frequent river trips for its members. While concentrating its efforts on the improvement
of smallmouth bass fishing in the region's rivers, PRSC supports the preservation of fish
habital and the wise management of all river gamefish species. The Club also emphasizes
knowledge of safe boating and wading skills as central to an enjoyable river experience.
PRSC articipates in various community sporting activities including the use of canoes and
other river watercraft, river cleanup, fishing awards, recreational and educational events
for young people, equipment demonstrations and new product evaluation. The group also
works closely with state and federal agencies, and other membership organizations and
various businesses on matters of common interest. |

Meetings take place on the last Wednesday of the month

From I-66
Exit at Chain Bridge Road (123 North). Chain Bridge Road becomes Maple Avenue as
you enter Vienna. Follow Maple Avenue (123) for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on S.
Center Street; it is the first street after Courthouse Road (673). There is a Fresh Fields
on the right side of the road just past the turn for Center Road. There also is a fire
station sign on the right indicating the turn onto Center Street. Go a few blocks down S.
Center Street and the fire station will be on the left across from Elm Street.

From I-495
Exit Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West (Tysons Corner). Take Route 7 for approximately 1
mile and exit on Chain Bridge Road (123 South). [Note: Chain Bridge Road (123) may
be called Maple Avenue.] Follow 123 for approximately 4 miles. Turn left on S. Center
Street; it is the first street after Park Street (675). There is a Fresh Fields on the
left side of the intersection of Center and Maple Avenue (123). There should also be a
fire station sign indicating the turn onto Center Street. Go a few blocks down S. Center
Street and the fire station will be on the left across from Elm Street.
